Story

Across TC Group, we’ve challenged ourselves to take part in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge on Saturday 31 May 2025.

Some of us have trained, others are braving it through confidence alone, so we’ve got a mixture of people of varying fitness levels signed up!

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a 24 mile (38.6km) round-trip route and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent. The Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres), usually in this order, and is typically completed in 12 hours.

I thought I would go one step further and try and run as much of the course as I can!

So far I’m up to 30km in training but of course there are not many hills in Essex!

I'm raising money for Cancer Research as two family members have had treatment for cancer this year and a number of friends have also been exposed to this horrible disease. Please help me raise funds to improve the odds for those affected.
