Story
Members of Portishead Cycling Club (PCC) are gearing up for their latest charity fundraising endeavour, cycling towards a goal to raise vital funds for Penny Brohn UK, a cancer health and wellbeing charity.
Starting on Monday 2 February, cyclists will undertake the mammoth challenge of cycling the equivalent of 100 ascents of Mt Everest before the end of the month! This incredible feat is not just about physical endurance; it’s about coming together as a community to support those who are facing one of life’s toughest battles.
At Penny Brohn UK, we believe that no one should face cancer alone. Our holistic approach, known as The Bristol Whole Life Approach, provides anyone affected by cancer with practical, emotional, and social support. We aim to improve their quality of life and help them manage the fear and uncertainty that often accompanies a cancer diagnosis.
With your generous support, we can raise our target amount of £2,500 to provide more life-changing assistance to those who need it most. Join us in making a difference—every contribution counts and brings hope to individuals and families navigating this challenging journey.
