Leeds Half Marathon 2026 · 10 May 2026 ·

We work with some incredible, small charities who are doing amazing things to improve the lives of disadvantaged children, young people and their families or other adults. The main way we do this is by giving grants so the more funding we have available, the more financial support we can offer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As a trustee of this charity, I see the great work that the money donated and raised goes to funding.

I would like to do my part to raise some more money for this, and am taking part in the Leeds half marathon on 10th May to do so

I’m running the 2026 Leeds Half Marathon for Gilly’s!

Gilly’s is a grant making trust that identifies amazing organisations you have probably never heard of but are each a shining example of a small charity doing incredible things to improve the lives of disadvantaged children, young people, families and adults in their own unique way.

Alongside supporting small charities with a grant, Gilly’s also focuses on exploring other non-financial ways that they can help. This could be anything from spreading awareness about their particular area of need to introducing them to contacts with relevant skills or experience who can donate their time to tackle a challenge. Small charities are often run solely by volunteers or by only a handful of paid staff so this type of additional support can be invaluable.

Everything I raise will be added to Gilly’s 2026 Grants fund and will be used to support one (or more!) of the small charities selected during the autumn 2026 grants process.
