I am fundraising in aid of Vision North Somerset. I've been volunteering with Vision North Somerset since March, guiding partially sighted cyclists on a tandem tricycle on the Strawberry Line every other Tuesday

Vision North Somerset is reliant on donations to fund its peer support activities for the partially sighted, including swimming, canoeing and skittles as well as cycling.

So now I've finally got round to doing a multi day bike trip, I'm hoping that I'll be able to raise funds for Vision North Somerset at the same time. The plan is 380 miles and 17,750 of climbing in 7 days. Three of the days will be harder than any one day bike ride I've done before, but everything will be fine because my friend Malcolm is cycling with me and he's run marathons. Plus some family are coming along by car to keep an eye on me when they're not busy sightseeing - for the nerds among you, this is emphatically not a self-supported ride.
