We lost Jean - my mother-in-law, Michala's mum, Grandma Jean to our boys - very suddenly in May 2024. Cause of death was a shock - Leukaemia. No warning, no prior diagnosis and no time to say goodbye.

In Jean's memory I will be running the 2026 London Marathon to raise valuable funds to support Leukaemia UK.

Leukaemia UK believe that research has the power to stop leukaemia devastating lives. Despite decades of incredible progress, only half of leukaemia patients live longer than five years after their diagnosis. More needs to be done and I want to play a small part in helping this.

The charity's purpose is to bring the leukaemia community together, accelerate progress through life-changing research, awareness and advocacy and do everything possible to make sure that the next person with leukaemia has the best possible experience of diagnosis, treatment and care.
