Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses – who we continually support and develop – provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.

Story

Dear friends and family,

We’re heartbroken to share the tragic and sudden loss of Simon Helliwell in a skiing accident in Morzine.

In his honour, we’ve created this JustGiving page to support dementia awareness and research, a cause close to Simon’s heart.

Always full of life, and the centre of our worlds, Simon touched the lives of many with his warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit. As we remember the joy he brought into our lives, let’s come together to make a positive impact in the fight against dementia.

All donations will go towards supporting Dementia UK. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference in helping others affected by this challenging condition and would have meant so much to Simon.

Thank you for your support during this difficult time, and for joining us in honoring Simon’s memory.

With gratitude,

The Helliwell Family
