UALS for Movember including London to Brighton Cycle

London to Brighton Cycle September · 15 September 2024 ·
Throughout the academic year, we as a school are taking part in a range of fundraising events, to raise as much money as possible. This is largely to support all men, but specifically our very own Mr Ratcliffe who has chosen Movember, as he is currently receiving treatment for cancer.
The final event will take place on Sunday September 15th 2024, with Mr Jay, and family members taking part in the London to Brighton Cycle. As a family, we have done this several times before, for different charities. This time around as soon as Mr Ratcliffe's diagnosis was known, he and I made the decision to support Movember.
Movember state:
Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends are facing a health crisis, yet it’s rarely talked about. We can’t afford to stay silent.
We are the leading charity changing the face of men’s health. We know what works for men – and what doesn’t. Prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention – we’re taking them all on.
Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, and shaking up men’s health research.
