Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 30th of June 2023 I will be undertaking the Coast and Castles bike ride from Edinburgh to Newcastle over 3 days totalling approximately 200 miles. This will be the biggest distance I've ever done in my life. While doing this I'd like to raise some well needed money for a cause close to my heart. As a youth coach and ex-rugby player myself, Doddie Weir was an inspiration throughout his playing days and especially in later life, for the way he tackled his diagnosis and living with Motor Neurone Disease. He did some amazing work raising awareness of this terrible condition and worked tirelessly until he sadly passed away in November 2022 age 52.

MND can affect everyone and not just players of contact sports, hopefully a cure can be found and maybe even prevention altogether. Whatever you can give will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
