Today in the UK, there are around 2,5000 children and 18,000 people of all ages with upper limb differences. For those who need a prosthetic arm the route through the NHS is long and arduous. Since 2018 The Worshipful Company of Glovers has given charitable support by funding or partially funding bionic arms for adults and children, this has proven to be life changing.

As an active member of the Glovers, Maggie has shown a particular interest in the support of upper limb prosthetics.

Having celebrated my 80th birthday earlier this year I am keen to "not let the old man in" and remain active. I am therefore joining a team of younger Wing Walkers to support the Mistress Glover's Flying Circus fundraising event on the 30th July 2024.
