Story

WHAT A GREAT SUCCESS OUR EVENT WAS, THANKS SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTED, ATTENDED, SUPPORTED OR JUST WISHED US WELL - WE COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU .

OUR STORY

At the beginning of 2023 our beloved Debbie was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma IV, one of the most persistent and fast growing forms of brain tumour. Throughout her illness, Debbie was so brave and stayed positive, waking up every day with a determination to be happy, to laugh and to recover from this form of unpredictable cancer. She underwent over a year of unrelenting surgical, chemo, immune and radio therapy treatments but sadly passed away early in 2024.

The Brain Tumour Charity is one of the most under funded cancer research organisations, which is why together with many friends of the family we will be completing The Hallow 12 Parish Challenge, a 10 or 14 mile walk or run on 6th July in honour of Deb’s passion for running and to raise as many funds as possible for The Brain Tumour Charity.

We’d greatly appreciate any donation you’d like to make to help the tens of thousands of people, of all ages who are diagnosed every year.
