Two years ago, many of you generously supported my LEJOG challenge in aid of Marie Curie. Despite missing a day when my bike decided not to play ball, I still made it to John O'Groats, and together we raised money for a charity that means a great deal to me. Marie Curie provided incredible care, compassion and support to my family during one of the darkest times of our lives, and I'll never forget what they did for us.

This year's ride isn't about making up for last time—it's simply about taking on a challenge and enjoying the adventure. If you'd like to support Marie Curie again, I'd be hugely grateful, but please don't feel any pressure, ANY expression of support counts in an adventure of this magnitude. Every penny will help to support people and their families through a very difficult time.
