Story
On June 22nd, I’ll be taking on the Snowdon 3000s Challenge — a relentless trek across all 16 peaks over 3,000 feet in Snowdonia National Park, aiming to complete it within 24 hours. Covering around 35 miles with steep climbs, exposed ridgelines, and very little rest, it will be a true test of both physical and mental resilience. I’m currently in the middle of training to prepare for what will be one of the toughest challenges I’ve taken on.
I’m doing this in support of LUPUS UK, a cause that is very personal to me. My goddaughter Isabelle was diagnosed with lupus in 2024 at just 12 years old. Lupus in children is often more aggressive and complex, impacting their daily lives at a time when they should simply be enjoying being young. There is currently no cure.
By taking on this challenge, I hope to raise awareness as well as funds to support those living with this condition and the work being done to improve diagnosis, treatment, and support.
I know times are tough, so any support is truly appreciated. Whether that’s a donation, taking a moment to learn about lupus, or sharing this page to raise awareness — it all makes a difference.
