Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2007, things changed in an instant. I suffered a sudden brain hemorrhage caused by an Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM). It was a terrifying time, but thanks to the world-class expertise and compassionate care of the Wessex Neurological Centre in Southampton, I was given the chance to recover. The legend Mr Sparrow led the charge!
This April marks 19 years since that life-altering event. To celebrate this milestone and say a massive "thank you" to the team that saved me, I’ve decided to push my limits and run the Lincolnshire Boston Marathon.
The Wessex Neuro unit provides vital care for people with complex neurological conditions across the South of England. By donating to my run for Smile4Wessex, you are helping to fund specialised equipment, research, and support that truly transforms lives—just like mine was transformed nearly two decades ago.
Whether it’s £1.90 or £19, every donation helps me reach the finish line and supports an incredible cause that is very close to my heart.
Thank you for your support and for being part of my 19-year celebration!
