My Sahara Trek with Aggies is driven by a personal desire to see serving members of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines and Royal Fleet Auxiliary supported to the full through all life's circumstances.

Aggies is a Christian charity offering pastoral care to serving personnel and their families by employing pastoral workers such as myself. The support we give enables our beneficiaries to overcome obstacles and live life to the full, which in turn enables them to continue to give their best service in support of their country.

To mark 150 years of support to the Royal Navy, Aggies have organised a sponsored trek through the arduous terrain of the Sahara Desert in October 2026. The money raised will directly support serving personnel and their families, providing things like pastoral care, ships' visits, family events, social nights, emergency support, and signposting to other charities. As a pastoral worker I am passionate about the work that Aggies provides because those we support sacrifice so much in support of their country, and in turn should be provided a level of love and care that means they can flourish and excel in everything they do.

I have witnessed first hand the difference both small and large amounts can make, and I am grateful to you, my sponsors, to however you feel led to give. I will make it count one footstep at a time.

A portion of the funds raised will go towards the cost of my participation in the challenge.
