On 21st September, I’ll be taking on the Reigate Half Marathon in support of one of the Mayor of Reigate & Banstead’s chosen charities for this year – Home-Start East Surrey. This wonderful charity works tirelessly to support local families with young children through challenging times, offering practical help, emotional support, and a friendly face when it’s needed most. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Home-Start continue their incredible work in our community. Last year we supported 337 local young children in families by either our volunteer home visiting service, nurture group for babies under 1, invited play sessions or parenting courses. Our small chairty changes the lives of children in the Redhill, Merstham, Horley, Reigate, Tandridge and Mole Valley areas. We need over 200k a year to continue to make adifference, and every year, demand for our service increases.
