I’m excited to be taking on the Reigate Half Marathon. As a Democratic Services Officer at Reigate & Banstead Borough Council, I’m looking forward to supporting one of the Mayor’s chosen charities this year Home-Start East Surrey.

I’ve set myself a running challenge this September: three races in just 15 days. After completing the Great North Run and the Richmond Marathon, Reigate will be the final test—and I’m determined to make it count by raising as much as possible for Home-Start.

Home Start East Surrey

Last year we supported 337 local young children in families by either our volunteer home visiting service, nurture group for babies under 1, invited play sessions or parenting courses. Our small chairty changes the lives of children in the Redhill, Merstham, Horley, Reigate, Tandridge and Mole Valley areas. We need over 200k a year to continue to make adifference, and every year, demand for our service increases.
