Story
On Saturday 5 July, I will be attempting to complete Tough Mudder: a 15km endurance event with 30 obstacles to overcome, including:
• Electric Eel – crawling through muddy water while being shocked;
• Arctic Enema – sliding into and swimming through a pool of freezing water;
• Cage Crawl – crawling through a muddy trench under a cage;
• Electroshock Therapy – running through an enclosure littered with dangling electrical wires; and
• Kiss of Mud – crawling under barbed wire through mud.
Yes, I’m not sure what why I’ve signed up for this either…!
Except I am, as all the funds raised will be donated to a wonderful organisation called Midlands Langar Seva Society (MLSS), which I’ve had the privilege of being part of for the past three years.
Established in 2013, MLSS is a charity that provides food, essential supplies and other humanitarian support to the homeless and most vulnerable in our society.
Your generous donations will enable MLSS to continue its vital work.
Thank you in advance for your support.
