Simon's fundraiser for Rutherford School

Simon Stockman is raising money for The Garwood Foundation

Walking from 10th May over two and a half months from Lands End to John O'Groats

Garwood - where every ability shines. We enable people living with and affected by disability to live the fullest lives they can. We run a school, day centre, and residential home; creating safe spaces for everyone to explore what they can do and allow their abilities to shine through.

Story

Support Students at Rutherford School, South Croydon

Rutherford School, part of Garwood, is a specialist independent mixed day provision for students aged between 16-25 years with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD).

Their highly unique curriculum is designed to provide education in an integrated manner incorporating learning, therapy and health needs for our pupils and students.

On the 10th May I started my walk from Lands End. The plan is to complete 22miles per day, reaching John O'Groats in 2.5months time. Your support will help me raise funds to support these students with essential resources, enriching experiences, and opportunities that go beyond the classroom. From learning materials and extracurricular activities your contribution can make a real and lasting difference.

I am currently (May 17th) in Tintagel and heading to Bude over the next 3 days.

Together, we can help every student at Rutherford School reach their full potential.

Please give what you can and share this page to help us go further.

Thank you for your generosity and support 💙
