Story
Bowel Cancer UK is the nation's leading bowel cancer charity. They fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease, and campaign for early diagnosis and access to the best treatment and care. Their mission is to stop people from dying of bowel cancer.
When I received my diagnosis of Bowel Cancer in September 2023, it was a devastating blow. I underwent a major operation to remove part of my bowel and endured grueling rounds of chemotherapy. It was a challenging journey, but thanks to the incredible research, information, and support provided by Bowel Cancer UK, I am now in a place where I can give back.
I have decided to participate in the Brighton Marathon 2024 as a way to celebrate my return to health and raise funds for this vital charity. The marathon will take place on April 7th, 2024.
My goal is to raise £300 for Bowel Cancer UK. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a massive difference in supporting their research efforts, providing crucial information, and offering much-needed support to patients like me.
Please consider supporting me in this endeavor by making a donation. Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of those affected by bowel cancer.
Thank you for your generosity!
