I'm hoping to raise at least £1200 and trek the Sahara Desert (not all of it). Please donate what you can in support of the Alzheimer’s Society charity.

My grandfather, Percy Turberfield, served in the armed forces and was stationed in North Africa for a period after the Second World War. Later in life, he worked for the CEGB at Ironbridge before transferring Hinkley Point A in 1970.

After suffering a severe stroke, Percy was subsequently diagnosed with dementia before passing away in 2013. I intend to carry out this sponsored trek in his memory.
