Story
Why I am raising money for MensCraft
I would like to help raise awareness for men's mental health and help to let people know that help is out there if needed. I myself have had issues in the past and did not know where to go for help.
I have always had an interest in vintage vehicles, especially tractors. The tractor I have chosen for my trip is a 1948 petrol Ferguson which I have owned since 2013. This is my oldest tractor and have done many runs on it raising money for various charities. It was literally dug out of a field in Northampton, where it had sat for many years rotting away, until I saved it and restored it.
The journey
My journey will start at Briston, Norfolk, and finish at The village, church farm museum, skegness, after a short trip along the seafront. This is a total of 87 miles, and with stops I'm hoping around 10 hours.
Thanks to my sponsors and supporters
I would like to thank Church Farm Museum, Skegness for their support and allowing me to use their grounds as my finishing point. Daniel Sanders of Sanders Coaches, Holt, Norfolk for collecting my tractor from Skegness to transport back to Norfolk. The Old 20 Parts (tractor spares), Derby for supplying me with a few essential spares, and Countryside Filling Station, Holt Road, Norfolk for supplying me with fuel for my trip. Also a chap named Hadley Ground from Boston who has been helping with plans from Boston onwards.
