The West of England MS Therapy Centre is part of The Brightwell Partnership. The therapies and support we provide are to help our members maintain independence, minimise their symptoms and to improve general wellbeing. Membership is open to anyone with a neurological condition, such as MS.

Story

I am running this half marathon for the Brightwell. Having visited and spent some time at this facility, I am very keen to keep helping as much as I can as their crucial service's are a life line to many. The Brightwell's mission is to provide a comprehensive range of therapies, services, information, and support for anyone affected by a neurological condition such as multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, or stroke recovery.

At the MS Therapy Centre at Bristol, they believe in creating a friendly environment that aims to help reduce the physical, emotional, and psychological effects of a life with a neurological condition. The purpose-built Centre in North Bristol, Bradley Stoke, serves as a haven for individuals seeking relief and support.

The Brightwell are proud to say that they are less than 1% statutory funded. This means that they rely heavily on continuous fundraising efforts to keep their doors open and continue providing essential services to those in need.

That's why I am participating in the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2024 - a marathon event taking place on April 7th, 2024. By running this marathon and raising funds for the MS Therapy Centre at Bristol, I hope to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals living with neurological conditions.

My goal is to raise £500 for this cause. Every pound donated will go directly towards supporting therapy sessions, providing information resources, and offering much-needed emotional support to those affected by neurological conditions.

Join me in making a difference! Your contribution will help us continue our mission of improving the lives of individuals living with multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, or stroke recovery. Together, we can create a brighter future for everyone affected by these conditions.
