After the success of conquering Snowdon in January the Forsyth Barnes team have partnered again with the Hike with Mike Foundation for a sponsored hike in the Peak District.

The When – Saturday 7th September

The Who – The Forsyth Barnes team has partnered with the Hike with Mike Foundation as there charity of choice for 2024 to support its quest to assist people in getting the help needed. Everything fundraised goes directly to the foundation, ensuring that generous donations truly will make a difference in someone's life.

The Why – We are raising money for The Hike with Mike Foundation, a Nottingham-based charity that offers immediate support to help people struggling with mental health and suicidal thoughts at a time of crisis. The HWM Foundation provides direct support to people within 24 hours of them reaching out. They source and fund counselling sessions, completely removing the 20+ week waiting list the NHS offer, whereby a large number of people take their own life before getting the help they need.

To date, they have funded counselling sessions for over 100 individuals who were at risk of suicide, many of which would not still be here were it not for their intervention.
