Story
At age 45 I've quit my job of 20 years as a commercial lawyer. I want to go on adventures, see the world and do something to help restore and protect our beautiful planet.
Starting in April 2026, I'll be cycling approximately 35,000km around the world and climbing a mountain on each continent I visit.
World Land Trust (WLT) protects the world’s most biologically significant and threatened habitats.
Through a network of 52 partners around the world, WLT funds the creation of reserves and provides permanent protection for habitats and wildlife. Partnerships are developed with established and highly respected local organisations who engage support and commitment among the local community.
To date, WLT has funded the protection of over 2.9 million acres, the planting of more than 3.1 million trees and the protection of over 13,066 species.
The money that is given to the World Land Trust, in my estimation, has more effect on the wild world than almost anything I can think of." Sir David Attenborough
