Please help us raise money for families battling cancer. ♥️

For the last 3 years our roads has raised money for a very important charity, Macmillan.

My mother in law unfortunately died a week before Christmas at the age of 63 very suddenly of cancer on my sons 5th birthday and her favourite time of year was seeing all the Christmas lights being put up and celebrating Christmas with her family and friends.

As our road (Simonds Grove, Spencer’s wood) has always been a hit with Christmas lights it seemed very fitting to raise money at this magical time of year to help others like us who have been or are being supported by MacMillan.

Unfortunately my family are battling cancer again as my mum now has stage 4 lung cancer and brother-in-law who has been hit with 2 aggressive cancers at the age of just 28. So I know too well how much support families need when fighting this horrible disease.

At MacMillan, they give people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are their worries. They do whatever it takes. But without your help they can’t support everyone who needs them.
