50 Miles in May

When families are feeling alone, confused and scared for their future, we are there to support them when they need it most. We are excited for our 50 Miles in May campaign, helping us to continue giving our vital support #50miles4EDT #50inMay

Story

Eden Dora Trust was established after a family's life was forever changed when their daughter fell ill with Encephalitis, a condition they had never heard of before. Miraculously, she survived, but the journey ahead was filled with challenges as she faced an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). This experience opened their eyes to the reality that Encephalitis can affect anyone at any time, often stemming from something as simple as a virus.

Determined to ensure that no other family would endure the fear, isolation, and confusion they faced during this difficult time, the founders dedicated themselves to supporting others in similar situations. Since its inception, Eden Dora Trust has made a profound impact on countless families across the UK by providing essential support through diagnosis assistance, educational resources for schools about ABI, rehabilitation services, a helpline for guidance, and much more.

Now more than ever, they need our help! By participating in "50 Miles in May for Eden Dora Trust," we can come together to raise vital funds that will enable them to continue their incredible work. My target is to raise £500 to support children and families who rely on this invaluable charity. Every contribution counts and brings us one step closer to making a difference in the lives of those affected by Encephalitis and ABI.

Thank you for your generosity and support and encouragement - it will help make my feet ache a little less!
