The Simone White Charity Football Tournament

Callum Slack is raising money for Whitechapel Mission

The Simone White Charity Football Tournament · 8 July 2026

The Whitechapel Mission has been serving the homeless and marginalised since 1876 – including a day centre, skills training and career advice, activity programmes and specialist support for complex needs. By encouraging each person to address the issues which caused their homelessness.

Story

On Wednesday 8 July, Squire Patton Boggs are hosting a charity mixed football tournament (which will involve SPB and client teams) at Powerleague Shoreditch, in memory of Simone White.

Simone was passionate about football and loved playing the game with her colleagues, so it feels only fitting to honour her through this event while raising money for SPB's office charity.

Whitechapel Mission is dedicated to providing a lifeline to the poor and homeless of London, who struggle each day against hunger, poverty and exclusion. Our goal is to help people to help themselves, giving them the confidence they need to become independent, which we do through practical support and advice and by teaching them the life skills they need to succeed.
