Story
Why do we want you to donate to The Christie?
A friend of one of our admin team had been raising money for this Charity for a number of years by taking part in organised bike rides.
Unfortunately this friend succumbed to this cruel disease himself and it is for this reason we wanted to continue the fundraising he cannot now do.
We organised the same event in November 2023 and raised just over £6,000 for The Christie Charity and this year we want to achieve a similar amount.
So please dig deep and we hope we can achieve our target in honour of Gareth P Longden
What are we doing?
On Saturday 14th December 2024 Simsport Racing International (SSRI) will host and live stream a 24 Hour Endurance Sim Race on the Assetto Corsa Competizione platform.
A maximum of 50 Teams with a range of between 1 (yes 1) and 6 drivers per team will race from 12PM until 12PM on Sunday 15th December 2024 with all Teams paying an entry fee to take part.
This entry fee is paid through this JustGiving Page so that 100% of the funds raised can be viewed as donations.
The Stewarding, broadcasting and admin team organising this event do it entirely on a voluntary basis so we thank them in advance.
