Story
The Sina Nafissi Excellence Fund honours the life and legacy of a brilliant alumnus of the Taylor Bennett Foundation Summer Stars Internship Programme, Sina Nafissi.
The Taylor Bennett Foundation (TBF), in partnership with Kekst CNC, have launched the Sina Nafissi Excellence Fund - a new initiative designed to remove financial barriers faced by ethnically diverse young people pursuing careers in communications.
Sina completed the internship through a placement with Kekst CNC before formally joining the firm as an Associate, where his intellect, talent and fearless authenticity set new standards of excellence for rising stars in the industry. In his name, TBF and Kekst CNC have created a flexible fund to ensure brilliant young people in the TBF community are not held back by financial constraints.
The fund will issue grants to support members of the TBF community with things like travel and living expenses, professional clothing and further training. It will allow anyone who is experiencing financial hardship in the critical early stages of their journey to stay focused on pursuing pathways into our sector - with confidence and without compromise.
From his first day with Kekst CNC, Sina was very focused on the need to increase ethnic and social diversity in the consulting world and was passionate about making space for people from underrepresented backgrounds. Through this initiative, we hope to tackle an issue that was important to him.
As a team, we will work closely with our wider community to ensure the fund grows in a way that reflects Sina’s extraordinary promise and enduring influence.
