The Air Ambulance rescued Sinead's daughter Ruby in September 2021, following a horrific accident where Ruby fell from her pony at speed and suffered significant injuries. It's a day that we'll never forget, but thanks to some quick-thinking friends and the amazing crew at the North West Air Ambulance, Ruby received urgent, life saving care near the site of her accident and was flown straight into Manchester Children's Hospital.

At the time, like many people, we didn't know the Air Ambulance was a charity. We've since vowed to raise as much money as possible, whenever and however we can for this incredible organisation. Ruby's recovery journey isn't over yet, and we dread to think how that day could have turned out had it not been for the Air Ambulance, but she's doing well and amazes us every day with her sense of joy, strength and resilience.
