Story
Ello,
If you know me well enough, you’ll know how passionate I am in advocating for my three amazing children. I firmly believe that no matter a child’s background, belief, or circumstance…every child deserves the same safety, security, and supported start in life.
I’m running the London Marathon 2026 in support of the Positive Youth Foundation… a Coventry-based charity that stands beside young people who deserve every chance to thrive.
Being a mum of three, I know what it means to nurture potential…to give children safety, structure, and encouragement so they can believe in themselves. I’m incredibly lucky that my children have that foundation as a baseline. But I also know that for many young people in our own city and beyond, the support my children receive, is actually a privilege.
This is where The Positive Youth Foundation changes that and I want to stand by them and help them as much as possible.
They work with young people who are constantly facing inequality, displacement, or disadvantage…helping to navigate them on their journey through creative expression, sport, education, and trusted relationships.
I’m running the London Marathon because The Positive Youth Foundation mirrors my personal beliefs.
I believe that the privileges of stability, guidance and positive humans to support our young peoples growth, should be the baseline for every child…not the exception.
I believe this locally grown Charity, with your support, can reach so many more young people that really need a lifeline.
Every mile I run is a step toward that belief.
Every donation is a stand for equality.
Every penny is to help a child
Together, we can make sure that all children have the same chance to find their voice, their community, and their future.
For me running the London marathon is a dream come true and I’m running alongside my gang from @letsrunwirhpurpose to acknowledge every child, every child that needs help making their dreams come true!
