Sinead's walk 100 miles fundraiser for Irish Neonatal Health Alliance

Sinead Mccarthy is raising money for Irish Neonatal Health Alliance

WALK 100 MILES IN SEPTEMBER

We support families affected by premature birth by advocating increased awareness, improved pre-conceptual and ante-natal education, equitable and standardized neonatal care for all infants and improved long-term care for both the premature baby and the family.

Story

I’m taking on the challenge to walk 100 miles in September to raise money for the Irish Neonatal Health Alliance, a cause that is very close to my heart. My daughter was born two months early and spent four weeks in NICU. Having experienced the fear and uncertainty of those early days, I know how traumatic it can be for families.

I’d love to raise funds to help support other parents going through what we did. Every donation, no matter how small, would mean so much. ❤️

INHA is the only Irish charity that supports families affected by premature birth - families of babies born too soon, too small and too sick to face the busyness of the world.

We give the voice to these families through our educational, advocacy and research work, we support the families and NICUs themselves and promote awareness of the long term impact of prematurity.

We campaign for the inclusion of parents and the family centered care to be the standard in the NICU units based on research that is scientifically proven and HCPs backed.
