I’m super excited (and slightly scared) to share that I’ll be taking part in an abseiling descent from the brand-new block at L&D Hospital on Saturday, July 12th.

The hospital holds a special place in my heart. It’s where I was born and have received exceptional care over the last few years, including most recently when I was admitted again for kidney stones. But what has really touched my heart is the incredible care my father has received from the hospital over the past few months (and continues to).

So, I thought this abseil would be a small way of saying thank you to the hospital that’s been so amazing to me, my family, friends and to the town I love so I much.

Even a small donation would mean the world to the hospital and enable it to continue to deliver vital services to the community.

Ps - the first and only time, Ive abseiled was 13 years ago for Love Luton and down the town hall (evidence in the gallery above). I remember being absolutely terrified, so I'm hoping it wont be as scary this time round. 🫢
