Story
In April 2026, I will be taking on the TCS London Marathon for the second time, once again raising vital funds for Sue Ryder, and in particular Thorpe Hall Hospice. I am running on Sunday 26th April 2026, continuing a journey that is incredibly close to my heart.
I am doing this in memory of my grandad and my uncle, both of whom were cared for at Thorpe Hall Hospice. The care, compassion and dignity they received during such a difficult time left a lasting impact on my family. Having seen first-hand the difference this hospice makes, I knew that running just once wasn’t enough — I wanted to come back and do it again.
Thorpe Hall Hospice provides specialist palliative care, pain management, emotional support and comfort to people living with life-limiting illnesses. Their incredible teams care not only for patients, but also for families, offering kindness, reassurance and understanding when it is needed most. This vital care is provided but it relies heavily on fundraising and donations.
By supporting my second marathon for Sue Ryder, you are helping to ensure that Thorpe Hall Hospice can continue to provide the same exceptional care to other families facing the toughest moments of their lives. Every donation, no matter how small, will help make a real difference.
Thank you so much for supporting me and this amazing cause once again.
