I’m taking on the Singapore heat and running the half marathon on 1st Dec 2024 (4.30am race time!) to raise some funds to provide desks for the pupils of Thondwe Primary School in Malawi who are currently sitting on the ground whilst learning. This is a collaboration with the Rotary eClub of Southern Scotland, Rotary Club of Innerleithen, Walkerburn and Traquair, the Rotary eClub of the Willamette Valley, and the Church of Scotland Thondwe Partnership.

The desks are made locally in Malawi and cost around £35 (US$45/S$60/€40) per desk. If you can donate even a small amount towards one of these desks, you’ll be making a wonderful, positive difference for these learners.
