Story

Ah this event SOLD OUT and was a real success! Thanks to Beat Route Radio for the live broadcast.

World Mental Health Day came and went, but mental health matters every day...

Please STILL DONATE IF YOU CAN!!!

Donate £5 (or more!) for each adult (u16s free) and comment 'Tickets' - e.g. £10 and comment "2 Tickets" or £50 and comment" "3 tickets" then (sorry for the extra step!) contact me at krogers@wilsonbrowne.co.uk (or on linkedin) and let me know how many tickets you've donated for.

So what's this all about?

This year I'm stripping it back... After three successful years supporting The Lewis Foundation, and Kids Aid, Help For Heroes before that (amongst others), it's time to do a Robbie... and sing solo! This is a massive challenge for me, largely to honour my late Mum, who wanted me to have an outlet for my passion for music, mistakes, imperfections and al.

There's nowhere to hide when you go it alone... And whilst that may be true for me on the vocals this year for the single... Of course as always I'm not alone! I'm lucky to have more than one 'somebody' to turn to (and person number 1 on that list is my beautiful wonderful supportive wife Rachel).

The track is 'Use Somebody'' and made possible by help from my long suffering music buddy Ian Taylor on piano, and Angus Wallace from Far Heath Studio - a true magician on the mixing desk!

TO LISTEN 🎧 to the single ask Alexa, Spotify, Apple 🍏 for 'Use Somebody by Kevin Rogers'. Streaming raises fractions of a penny (feel free to leave it on repeat 😂) but THIS page is how you can help the most... Please do listen!

I'd like to thank Paul Baldwin for making the fun flyer for the live event, which in turn would not have been possible without my extremely generous sponsors and supporters from MANNOL UK, Wilson Browne Solicitors, Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce and of course Silverstone Museum who have provided an amazing venue (and some extra special F1 bubbly plus exclusive access to the museum after the event...!)

Massive thanks too to my friends at NorthantsLife and Northamptonshire Business Times for helping with the noise around this!

I was joined, live, by John Griff, Wayne Jenkins, Ian Taylor, MY DAUGHTER BETHANY, Dean Jones and San-D.

FINALLY a massive personal thanks to my dear friend Sunny Singh, who will be hosted the Live event. If you could turn to the definition of 'I could use somebody' in the dictionary and see his face you would not be far wrong. He shows up. Always.

Mental Health Matters. That's it really...

The live event was on World Mental Health Day and also falls in the 60th year of local mental health charity Northamptonshire Mind!
