A team of 6 from Singleton & Smart will be spending the night sleeping out for raise money for Streetlife.
Taking place at St. John’s Square in Blackpool’s town centre, the Big SleepOut raises vital funds to keep our town’s only emergency night shelter open for vulnerable young people aged 16-25.
Spending the night sleeping on the street to raise funds, means that a vulnerable young person doesn't have to. As a small charity, Streetlife rely on the kindness and efforts of amazing local supporters to keep the service running each year.
The funds raised during the Big SleepOut go towards the annual operating costs to keep this emergency night shelter open all year round, providing accommodation for homeless young people in the town. purpose is to provide support and shelter for vulnerable and often homeless young people aged 16-25 in Blackpool and surrounding areas. Streetlife aims to enable and empower young people to make informed choices about their situation and issues affecting their lives.
They support over 300 young people each year from their emergency nightshelter and day centre, providing safety, shelter, practical and emotional support in an inclusive environment using a trauma informed approach.
