There is a desperate need to tackle oral disease, infection and chronic pain throughout the developing world - to enable people to work, attend school and care for families. We teach skills that mean local people are able to function free from pain, and avoid preventable infections and diseases.

Story

Help Us Transform Lives in Tanzania!

Dear Friends and Supporters,

I am excited to share an incredible opportunity just around the corner! In March, I will travel to Tanzania with a dedicated team of eight colleagues to embark on a mission that can potentially change lives. Our goal is to educate 1,200 trainers—including teachers, health workers, and traditional healers—on crucial topics such as oral health and the prevention of female genital mutilation (FGM).

Why is this important? Equipping these trainers with knowledge and skills will create a ripple effect that reaches an astounding 6 million people in the community. This initiative is not just about education; it's about empowerment, health, and breaking the cycle of harmful practices. Together, we can significantly impact the lives of countless individuals and families in Tanzania.

THIS IS EVENT HAS NOW PASSED. but we are still fund raising !

To support this vital mission, I am organising a PechaKucha event—a dynamic evening of presentations where each speaker has 20 slides and only 20 seconds per slide to share their passion and insights. This engaging format promises to be informative and inspiring and will serve as a fundraiser for our project.

Here's how you can help:

1. Attend the PechaKucha Event online: Join us for an evening of creativity, knowledge-sharing, and community building. Your presence will uplift the speakers and contribute to a meaningful cause.

Ten will go into the final, and we will run the event live on Dec 19th, 2024, at 7:30 p.m.

To enter, Pay the entry fee of £50 to Justgiving, and please put your name.

Send your entry to info@siobhankelleher.com by Wetransfer.com.

Please consider making a donation to support our training efforts. No matter how small, every contribution will go directly towards resources, materials, and logistics needed for our mission in Tanzania.

Spread the Word: Share this page with your network, friends, and family. The more people who know about our cause, the more significant our impact can be!

Your support is vital in helping us provide essential education and resources to those who need them most. Together, we can empower communities, promote health, and create lasting change.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a difference. Together, we can help shape Tanzania's brighter future!

With gratitude,

Siobhan Kelleher
