Story
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page supporting the MND Association.
My lovely Dad was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease back in 2008 and passed away in 2010. It was a gruelling experience for my family but the Motor Neurone Disease Association simply couldn't have been more wonderful.
16 years later (where does the time go?!) is about time to make an effort to thank them (!). Given a recently developed running habit, the opportunity for a charity place in the Hackney Half marathon seemed too good to miss.
I ran a half marathon in October and swore I'd not do another, so it's not a prospect I'm relishing. But doing it in the memory of my dad, and for an incredible charity will help spur on the all important mental attitude on the day!
Even a fiver will help towards to goal - I'd be enormously grateful.
