The powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar on March 28th has caused destruction on a massive scale. World Vision is working alongside other DEC Member agencies to reach families in crisis today.

Story

The amazing staff team at SISM are coming together for an important cause! We will each be walking up to 20km in a single day to raise vital funds for communities affected by the devastating Myanmar Earthquake of 2025.

This powerful earthquake has left thousands without homes, clean water, food, or access to medical care. Families have lost everything, and urgent support is needed to help them rebuild their lives.

Every step we take is a step towards hope- hope for families who have lost loved ones, hope for children who need safety and care, and hope for communities working to recover and rebuild.

By walking 20km, we are challenging ourselves physically to stand in solidarity with those facing unimaginable hardship. Through this effort, we aim to raise as much as possible to send direct support where it is needed most.

We would be so grateful for your encouragement and donations, no matter how big or small. Every contribution makes a real difference.

Thank you for supporting our SISM team and helping us walk for a brighter future for the people of Myanmar.
