Three peaks challenge. · 16 August 2025

Mates in Mind aims to raise awareness, address the stigma of poor mental health and promote positive mental wellbeing in the UK workforce.

Story

In the space of 24 hours, we'll be attempting to conquer the three highest peaks in the UK: Ben Nevis in Scotland (1345m), Scafell Pike in England (978m), and Snowdon in Wales (1085m).

That's a total ascent of 3408 metres (11,181ft), 23 miles of hiking, and 462 miles of driving, all against a ticking clock.

This is more than just a physical challenge. We're a team of four mates pushing ourselves to the limit for a cause that's close to our hearts: Mates in Mind.

The name says it all. We believe in looking out for our mates. While we take on this visible, physical mountain, we know that many people are silently climbing their own invisible ones every single day. Mental health struggles can feel like a lonely, uphill battle.

Mates in Mind works to break that silence. They provide the skills, clarity, and confidence to support mental wellbeing, particularly in the workplace. They are creating a future where no one has to face their struggles alone.

Your donations will fuel our climb and, more importantly, help Mates in Mind reach someone who needs it. You'll be helping to start conversations that save lives.

Thank you for your support.
