This Christmas, SIX Hairdressing is proud to be supporting ShowerBox Birmingham, helping to provide dignity, comfort and care to people experiencing homelessness across Birmingham.

For most of us, having a hot shower, putting on clean underwear and using everyday toiletries is something we can easily take for granted. But for someone facing homelessness, access to these basic essentials can make an enormous difference — not only to their physical health, but also to their confidence, wellbeing and sense of dignity.

ShowerBox provides free showers, toiletries and clean underwear to people who need them, creating a safe and welcoming space where people can take care of themselves and feel human again.

And even a small donation can make a real difference.

❤️ £3 can provide one shower

❤️ £15 can provide five showers

❤️ £30 can provide ten showers

❤️ £200 can help fund an entire ShowerBox session

As part of our Christmas Appeal 2026, SIX Hairdressing is also acting as a collection point for new toiletries, underwear, socks, woolly hats and warm gloves. But we know that not everyone is able to visit the salon or purchase items, so we have created this fundraising page for anyone who would simply like to donate.

Every pound raised will help ShowerBox continue providing this incredibly important service.

Christmas can be an especially difficult time for people experiencing homelessness. While many of us are spending time at home with our families, there are people within our own community without access to some of the most basic things we use every day.
