Story
Hi everyone!
I’m excited to share an incredible opportunity I have coming up this July (2025). I’ll be travelling to Uganda with my church, Mullabrack & Kilcluney Parish Church, to support the amazing charity Abaana.
During this trip, I’ll be part of a team helping to build a nursery school and working on projects that are transforming lives:
Street Reach, which provides support and hope to vulnerable young boys living on the streets of Kampala.
Zuri Girl Classes, an initiative empowering older primary school pupils with vital menstrual hygiene and sexual health education.
Abaana is committed to changing lives through quality education in rural communities across Africa, with a particular focus on Uganda. Many children in these areas either miss out on school or study in unsafe, makeshift conditions. By building permanent schools that exceed government standards, Abaana is breaking the cycle of poverty and creating brighter futures.
I’m self-funding my trip, so all my donations will go directly to the building and mission projects mentioned above.
How You Can Help:
I’m reaching out to ask for your support in two ways:
Donate – Every contribution, no matter how small, will help us make a difference on this trip. Your donation will go directly toward the projects we’ll be working on and to support Abaana’s broader mission.
Share – Help spread the word by sharing this page with your family, friends, and networks.
This mission trip is not just about building schools—it’s about building hope, opportunity, and brighter futures for children who need it most.
Thank you so much for your support, encouragement, and generosity. Together, we can make a real difference!
