Fighting to raise awareness and offering financial support and friendship for those living with incurable secondary breast cancer. The Fighting to be Heard Foundation functions with 100% volunteers; there are no paid employees, and the majority are Secondary Breast Cancer patients.

Story

The staff at St Joseph’s are under taking the challenge of a sponsored walk on Saturday 16th March. We will be walking from Reddish Vale to Werneth Low and back again, which is approximately an 8 mile round trip.

We are aiming to raise money for the charity Fighting to be Heard. This is charity that Mrs Rackham has established to support people living with incurable secondary breast cancer, which she has also been diagnosed with. It aims to raise awareness of the disease, and offers financial support to those living with it. The charity is solely run by volunteers, so 100% of the money raised will go directly where it is needed.

More information on the charity can be found at www.fightingtobeheardfoundation.co.uk.
