William and I have always shared a joint interest in military history and until now neither of us have previously visited the Normandy Beach landing sites.

Originally we planned the trip as a “Dad & Lad” adventure however we thought it would be an excellent idea to make this a fundraising event in the honour of the brave service personnel that fell during the campaign and support the great work that the CWGF carry out all around the world to make sure our service men and women are remembered.
