Story
We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We’ve got loads of tools and resources to help people find the support they need, including a life-saving helpline for people who can’t see a way forward, have lost someone to suicide, or are worried about their friends or loved ones.
£12.20 is enough to fund one potentially life-saving call.

Hi my names Zach , im 29 from skelmersdale in the northwest of the UK 😊
Mental health has been a massive part of my life , through my own struggles , loved ones struggles and through friends. A recent loss in our community of a young life has pushed me into wanting to make a difference.
After losing my dad in my early 20's I struggled with low moods for quite a while. A trip to reykjavik was the first time I truly felt at peace since losing him. So the idea came about for a solo trek from my hometown back to my CALM place to raise money to help a suicide prevention charity. This led me to discovering calm and after looking more into them as a charity it became clear they are the perfect cause to raise money for .
I will be looking to leave around march 2027 qnd documenting the journey along the way on my Skem to reykjavik pages so I hope you can join me for the adventure 😄
Thank you for any and all support hopefully together we can help the campaign to end living miserably 😊
