George's fundraiser for Medecins Sans Frontieres / Doctors Without Borders (MSF)

A day skiing is how life should be – humans enjoying nature and cooperating in peace with abundant food, excellent healthcare and freedom from oppression and conflict. But a lot of people around the world have no such privilege and we are living through numerous horrific humanitarian crises right now.
Skiers for MSF invites the snowsport community to a simple call to action – to donate £1 per ski day to Doctors Without Borders and show solidarity with people suffering in some of the worst disasters and medical emergencies around the world.
Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières / MSF) provides emergency medical aid in crisis zones such as Gaza, Sudan, and Yemen - where conflict and disaster have destroyed healthcare systems. They deliver trauma surgery, maternity care, vaccines, malnutrition treatment, and more. MSF goes where no one else will, and they do it impartially and independently, with 99% of their funding coming from private donations. That independence is what allows them to act quickly, impartially, and where the need is greatest.
So here’s the idea: donate £1 for every day you ski this season.
Skied 5 days? That’s £5. Skied three weeks? £21.
If you believe that skiing as about more than just the sport, if you believe in solidarity and community and if you want a tangible way to help those suffering the most – donating to MSF can provide effective aid right now.
Donate what you can, share the campaign and let’s be proud of what the skiing community can achieve together.
