We have organised a national Skydive project named "Blind Panic", to raise money to enable Guide Dogs UK to breed more puppies and train more Mobility Officers. Since we started Blind Panic has grown to over 100 volunteers all over Britain who are willing to take one big step from a small airplane at 12,000 feet. These volunteers include severely visually impaired and blind persons as well as Guide Dogs puppy raisers, fundraisers and their friends and families.

My first skydive takes place on 28th July 2024 at Headcorn in Kent and my second takes place on 7th September in Scotland.

Almost two million people in the UK are living with sight loss that has a significant impact on their daily lives. Of those, around 180,000 rarely leave their homes alone and lead lonely, isolated lives.

Guide Dogs works for a world where people with sight loss are never left out of life, for a world where being blind or partially sighted is not what defines you. A world with enough support to make the challenges of sight loss no barrier to fulfilling hopes and dreams.
