Those of you that know me and Terry know how much this charity means to us, after a successful Firefighters day back in August last year we have decided to take a leap from thousands of feet in the air...this isn’t something most people do lightly but for us, it’s about far more than the adrenaline. Myself and Terry are taking on a charity skydive in support of Wishes 4 Kids, an incredible organisation dedicated to bringing joy, hope, and unforgettable memories to children living with life-threatening and terminal illnesses.

Every day, there are children facing conditions that most of us couldn’t begin to imagine...serious cancers, degenerative diseases, and complex medical conditions that require constant care and treatment. For these children and their families, life can often feel dominated by hospital visits, uncertainty, and emotional strain. That’s where Wishes 4 Kids steps in.

The charity works tirelessly to grant wishes to these brave young people, whether it’s meeting a hero, experiencing a dream holiday, or simply having a day where they can forget about their illness and just be a child. These moments are more than just treats; they create lasting memories, provide emotional relief, and give families something positive to hold onto during incredibly difficult times.

The money raised goes directly towards making these wishes come true. It helps fund experiences, travel, specialist equipment, and tailored activities that are designed around each child’s needs and dreams. Every donation plays a part in transforming what can be a frightening and isolating journey into something filled with moments of happiness and hope.
