Skye's fundraiser for Sense

Skye Jenkins is raising money for Sense

London Marathon 2026 · 26 April 2026 ·

Sense is here to support disabled people from the first weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood. Over 70 years, we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people.

Story

Hi! I’m taking part in the 2026 London Marathon and fundraising for Sense, a charity that believes that no one, no matter how complex their disabilities, should be isolated, left out, or unable to fulfil their potential.

Their experts offer personalised support through their centres, holidays and short breaks, or in people’s own homes. They are here for everyone who needs them, for as long as they need them – providing early intervention for children, helping young people access education, and supporting the transition into adulthood.

As someone who was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at a young age, this charity can help young people who struggled like me by providing extra support where needed. Any donation for this charity will help the lives of many to be provided with assistance the way they need and to be treated inclusively in very day life.
