Story

The Jurassic Coast Challenge will see Sky Sports Racing's Alex Hammond and Josh Apiafi trek along the Jurassic path on the Dorset coastline, starting at the Durdle Door and finishing in Swanage,

The Challenge will be a stern test of endurance, covering a distance of

20 miles and 1,443 metres of ascent.

They are raising funds for Racing Welfare that is a registered charity supporting the workforce of British horseracing.

It offers professional guidance and practical help to all the racing people – including stud, stable, and racecourse staff, alongside those working in associated professions – whose dedication is vital for the wellbeing of racing. Their work aims to help people, from recruitment to retirement, to thrive in day-to-day life and through a range of life’s challenges.

Racing Welfare is a cause close to Alex and Josh's hearts as they have both worked full time in racing since their teenage years
